On April 29, 2025, a solemn ceremony for presenting state awards of the Russian Federation and presidential commendations was held at Smolny. Alexander Dmitrievich Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, carrying out the instruction of the President of Russia, personally awarded representatives from various spheres of the city's life.
A.D. Beglov congratulated Sergei Alekseevich Vorobyov, Director of SPbNIIFK, on being awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation" and presented him with the breast badge.
