XII St. Petersburg International Health Forum

On September 25-27, 2024, the XII St. Petersburg International Health Forum "SPIHF 2024" was held in St. Petersburg.

On September 27, as part of the Forum, the Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Healthy Society: Course on Innovations. Health-saving Technologies in the Formation of a Healthy Lifestyle" took place, organized by the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine.

The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by Sergey A. Vorobyov, Director of FSBI SPbNIIFK, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, International-Class Master of Sports.

The event aimed to unite the efforts of international and national organizations in disseminating innovative projects and best practices aimed at the harmonious development of individuals in the systems of physical culture, sports, healthcare, and education.

The conference brought together scientists from research institutions and higher education organizations, presidents of all-Russian and international sports federations, representatives of international sports organizations, sports physicians, officials from the Russian Ministry of Health, rehabilitation centers specializing in health recovery for people with health conditions, heads of educational institutions, and teaching professionals.

The conference included discussions on current issues of fostering a culture of healthy living as a key aspect of population preservation in the Russian Federation. Topics covered included the application of health-saving technologies in the physical training systems of security forces, and the development of effective methods for integrating adaptive physical culture into education, social welfare, and healthcare sectors.

Фрагменты истории ФГБУ СПбНИИФК

В соответствии с Постановлением Президиума ЦИК СССР от 27 июля 1932 года на базе Государственного института физического образования (ГИФО) им. П.Ф. Лесгафта в январе 1933 года был создан Научный институт им. П.Ф. Лесгафта, впоследствии - Ленинградский научно-исследовательский институт физической культуры (ЛНИИФК).

Первоначально Институт располагался на проспекте Динамо дом 2 (с 1933 по 2008 г.)
