November 19th saw the holding of a methodological seminar organized by the Association of Sports Psychologists and Psychologists-Practitioners of Team and Game Sports "Kommanda" on the topic “Hardware Methods in Sports Psychology: Practice and Solutions”.
The overview report was delivered by Junior Researcher Nadezhda Vladimirovna Medvedeva of the Laboratory of Psychology and Psychophysiology of Sport, of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Saint Petersburg Scientific-Research Institute for Physical Culture".
In her presentation, she highlighted the following key aspects:
• Key directions for the use of hardware methods in sports psychology.
• An extensive pool of scientific research on this topic.
• Important limitations and risks of incorrect application of methods that practitioners need to be aware of.
The event aroused keen professional interest in the topic and provided an expert platform for a substantive dialogue and exchange of relevant experience among practitioners.
