On August 30, 2025, a round table dedicated to current issues in sports psychology was held at the F.F. Cherenkov Academy of FC Spartak.

Participants repeatedly emphasized that a sports psychologist is a crucial part of the team, providing support to athletes and coaches. The specialist's competencies can significantly increase the effectiveness of the training process and the quality of athletic preparation.
Leading experts participated in the round table. Maria Petrovna Gavrilova, a researcher at the Division of Sports Physiology of the FSBI SPbNIIFK, delivered a presentation titled "From Emotional Chaos to Adaptive Control: Psychophysiology of Athlete's Emotional Reactions in Critical Situations." Her speech generated significant interest among the participants and was an important contribution to the discussion of the stated topic.
Specialists shared current research, practical developments, and approaches in the field of sports psychology.
