The Laboratory of Information and Analysis is a structural division of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "St. Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Culture" (FSBI SPbNIIFK) and is part of the Division of Innovative Technologies in Sports.

Tasks of the laboratory

• Collection and processing of data from various sources;
• Forecasting the development of the situation in elite sports;
• Preparation of reports and recommendations for decision-making;
• Monitoring the information environment and identifying new trends in sports;
• Interaction with other divisions of the institute for information exchange;
• Development and implementation of an information risk management system;
• Ensuring the information security of the institute;
• Organizing training for institute staff on working with information systems;
• Participation in the development of strategic plans for the institute's development.

Functions of the laboratory

•     Ensuring stable and uninterrupted operation of the institute's existing computer equipment;
•     Maintaining the institute's computer equipment in proper condition;
•     Collecting and consolidating into a single database the data obtained by institute staff as a result of research conducted under concluded contracts;
•     Collecting statistical data on publications of institute staff's works in various publications;
