On August 27, 2025, the Director of the FSBI SPbNIIFK, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Sergey Alekseevich Vorobiev participated as an honorary guest in the training and methodological assembly "Improving the educational activities of the Military Order of Zhukov Academy of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation: updating the Federal State Educational Standards and new provisions in education legislation" with the academy's professorial and teaching staff.
The Training and Methodological Assembly (TMA) is aimed at improving the educational activities of the university, updating the federal educational standard, and developing qualitatively new approaches to training future officers of the law enforcement troops. The event was held under the leadership of the Head of the Military Academy of the Rosgvardia, Major General Andrey Kiyko.
Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Rosgvardia, Lieutenant General Denis Ermakov, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech and a report on innovations in military-political work, touching upon important aspects of the work of a political deputy commander in the context of the modern changing geopolitical situation. Among the guests and speakers of the event were also: State Duma Deputy Maria Butina, Deputy Commander of the North-Western District of the Rosgvardia for Military-Political Work Colonel Vladimir Tikhonov, Head of the St. Petersburg University of the FSIN of Russia Major General of the Internal Service Alexander Votinov, Head of the First Border Military Corps of the FSB of Russia Major General of Justice Vyacheslav Baranenkov, as well as heads and deputies for academic affairs of St. Petersburg universities and representatives of the education sector.
Within the framework of the Training and Methodological Assembly (TMA), issues of accreditation of educational organizations, digital transformation of education, and the activities of federal educational and methodological associations in accordance with the new tasks of higher education were considered.
During the event, Sergey Alekseevich Vorobiev held constructive negotiations with the Head of the Military Academy, Major General Andrey Yuryevich Kiyko, the academy's leadership, and heads of scientific and scientific-educational organizations participating in the TMA. Issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the educational, scientific, and innovative spheres, and a partnership system with the FSBI "St. Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Culture" were discussed.
