Seminar at the Sevastopol Sports Teams Training Center

On September 18, 2025, as part of the seminar "Managing Aggressive Behavior in Sports," Anna Leonidovna Lebedeva, Senior Researcher of the FSBI "Saint Petersburg Scientific-Research Institute for Physical Culture" (SPbNIIFK), delivered a remote report by invitation of the State Autonomous Institution "Sevastopol Sports Teams Training Center." She conducted a practical session for the attendees with recommendations on overcoming bullying and creating a supportive environment.

Lebedeva's presentation on the relevant topic "Personal Defense Strategies and Building Resilience: A Psychologist's Recommendations. The Role of Coaches and Parents in Creating a Safe Psychological Environment" was dedicated to providing recommendations for coaches and practicing sports specialists on the timely identification and prevention of bullying, as well as emergency response and an action algorithm in case of an incident of destructive aggression within a sports team. During her presentation, A.L. Lebedeva outlined fundamental recommendations for the interaction and communication between coaches and athletes' parents to foster a supportive environment, and techniques for reducing impulsive reactions from participants in a conflict or bullying situation.

The seminar attendees included heads, deputy heads for sports and methodological work, methodologist instructors, coaching teachers of institutions under the Sevastopol Sports Department, and coaches of national teams.
