From December 8 to 12, 2025, the 16th World Congress of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) was held in Hong Kong, China. This is a key event in the field of sports science, which gathers leading experts from all over the world every four years.

The Congress traditionally serves as the most important platform for sharing best practices, presenting innovative research, and discussing the future of sport psychology. This year, Russian specialists also took part in the work of the large-scale forum.

As part of the poster sessions, a report was presented by Research Fellow, Acting Head of the Laboratory of Sports Psychology and Psychophysiology at the FSBI SPbNIIFK, Viktoria Valeryevna Georgiadi. The research was dedicated to the topic: "Computer program for the development of individual autogenic training". The work generated interest from the international professional community.

The participation of Russian experts in a congress of such high level underscores the integration of national sports science into the global research context and contributes to the strengthening of international scientific ties.
