City Snowkiting Championships and First Place Tournament in "Ski Course-Race" and "Board Course-Race" Disciplines

The City Snowkiting Championships and First Place Tournament in the "Ski Course-Race" and "Board Course-Race" disciplines took place in the Gulf of Finland, St. Petersburg, from February 27th to March 1st, 2026.

The judging panel for the competition included Victoria Valerievna Georgiadi, acting head of The Laboratory of Psychology and Psychophysiology of Sports at FSBI SPbNIIFK, and an All-Russian category judge, serving as chief secretary.

The competition was held in challenging weather conditions typical of early spring in St. Petersburg: strong winds, rain with snow. This required excellent physical fitness from the participants, kite handling skills, and remarkable psychological resilience.
