On February 13–16 and 20–23, 2025, the traditional All-Russian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined competitions for children and youth — "Kavgolovo Games" — were held in Kavgolovo (Leningrad Region).
As part of the cooperation agreement with the Regional Public Organization "Sports Federation of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined of St. Petersburg," a lecture titled "Evaluation of Ski Jumping Technique" was delivered for coaches and young athletes on February 13 and 20.
G.G. Zakharov, a researcher at the Division of Modern Technologies for Training Elite Athletes of the St. Petersburg Scientific-Research Institute for Physical Culture (FSBI SPbNIIFK), informed the audience about modern trends in judging jump technique and ways to optimize technique for higher judges' scores.
