ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION "MODERN APPROACHES TO IMPROVING THE SYSTEM OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS"

On October 30-31, 2024, the All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference with international participation "Modern Approaches to Improving the System of Physical Culture and Sports" was held. The conference was organized and conducted at the FSBI "St. Petersburg Scientific-Research Institute for Physical Culture" (SPbNIIFK) in accordance with the Plan of Scientific Congresses and Conferences of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation for 2024 and according to the Plan of Joint Scientific Events for the exchange of experience in scientific-methodological and practical support of elite athlete training, sports reserve, as well as anti-doping activities in sports for 2024-2025 between the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person presentations and video conferencing.

The conference was attended by practitioners, leading researchers, coaches, sports educators and psychologists, other specialists, postgraduate students and applicants from various state, non-state institutions and international organizations specializing in physical culture and sports, sports reserve training, mass and recreational physical culture, sports pedagogy and related fields from different regions of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.

More than 200 participants from over 20 regions attended (St. Petersburg, Moscow and Moscow Region, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Surgut, Chaykovsky, Krasnodar, Omsk, Kursk, Penza, Smolensk, Volgograd, Sevastopol, Melitopol, Krasnodar, Syktyvkar, Vladivostok, Lipetsk, Cheboksary, Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Armenia, etc.), representing 45 organizations.

The conference program included 45 presentations.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee and the plenary session was Sergey Alekseevich Vorobyov, Director of FSBI SPbNIIFK, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.

The participants received a welcoming address from the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.

Sergey Petrovich Evseev, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Adaptive Physical Culture at Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The live broadcast of the conference sessions allowed about 200 people from different cities of Russia and neighboring countries to follow the proceedings in real time.

Following the conference, a resolution was prepared and unanimously adopted by the participants.

At the beginning of the conference, a collection of conference materials was published, consisting of 69 scientific publications.
