On October 30-31, 2025, the 2nd All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference with International Participation "Modern Approaches to Improving the System of Physical Culture and Sports" was held. The conference was organized and conducted on the basis of the FSBI "St. Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Culture" (SPbNIIFK) in accordance with the Plan for conducting scientific congresses and conferences of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation for 2025.

On September 18, 2025, as part of the seminar "Managing Aggressive Behavior in Sports," Anna Leonidovna Lebedeva, Senior Researcher of the FSBI "Saint Petersburg Scientific-Research Institute for Physical Culture" (SPbNIIFK), delivered a remote report by invitation of the State Autonomous Institution "Sevastopol Sports Teams Training Center." She conducted a practical session for the attendees with recommendations on overcoming bullying and creating a supportive environment.
On September 7, St. Petersburg became the capital of running sports! On this day, the legendary 98th PUSHKIN - PETERSBURG MARATHON took place, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On September 5, 2025, a member of the presidium of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the system of higher education for the enlarged group of fields and specialties 49.00.00 Physical Culture and Sports, Director of FSBI SPbNIIFK, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Sergey Alekseevich Vorobiev participated in the discussion and approval of draft Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education (FSES HE).
On August 30, 2025, a round table dedicated to current issues in sports psychology was held at the F.F. Cherenkov Academy of FC Spartak.
On August 27, 2025, the Director of the FSBI SPbNIIFK, Ph.D. in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Sergey Alekseevich Vorobiev participated as an honorary guest in the training and methodological assembly "Improving the educational activities of the Military Order of Zhukov Academy of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation: updating the Federal State Educational Standards and new provisions in education legislation" with the academy's professorial and teaching staff.
On August 19, 2025, the Director of the FSBI SPbNIIFK, Sergey Alekseevich Vorobyov, attended the events of the 4th Regatta of the St. Petersburg Special Olympics in unified sailing as an honorary guest, upon the invitation of the General Director of the Special Olympics Committee of St. Petersburg, Sergey Vladimirovich Gutnikov.
In the period from August 03 to 08, 2025, Anna Leonidovna Lebedeva, Ph.D. in Psychology, Senior Researcher of The Division of Modern Technologies of Training for High Trained Athletes, and Evgeny Vladimirovich Ageev, Junior Researcher of The Division of Sports Physiology, took part in a training event of the Paralympic swimming team for athletes with physical impairments in Ruza (Moscow Region).
